Instruction on forestry arrangements in the forests contaminated with radionuclides establishes requirements for timber extraction, conservation, protection of forests and reforestation in the areas contaminated with radionuclides with a view of ensuring safety of public health, natural environment and forest products. Instruction on control of radionuclides indices in forest resources establishes the modalities of radiation survey of standing timber and non-timber products on forest land contaminated as a result of Chernobyl and Mayak disasters.
