Order No. 770 of the Ministry of Agriculture validating the Veterinary Rules for the implementation of preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, restrictive and other measures, the establishment and cancellation of quarantine and other restrictions aimed at preventing the spread and eliminating foci of pasteurellosis of various types.

Abstract

These Veterinary Rules establish preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, restrictive and other measures, application and lifting of quarantine and other restrictions, aimed at preventing the spread and elimination of foci of pasteurellosis of various types, establish mandatory requirement for the implementation of preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, restrictive and other measures, application and cancellation of quarantine on the territory of the Russian Federation and other restrictions aimed at preventing the spread and the elimination of foci of pasteurellosis of various types. In order to prevent the occurrence and spread of pasteurellosis, individuals and legal entities, individual entrepreneurs who are owners of animals are required to: (a) provide, at the request of authorized specialists of bodies and organizations included in the system of the State Veterinary Service of the Russian Federation, animals for examination; (b) within 24 hours notify the specialists of the State Veterinary Service of the Russian Federation of all cases of illness or death of animals, as well as changes in their behavior that indicate a possible disease; (c) take measures to isolate suspected animals of the disease, as well as ensure the isolation of animal corpses in the same room (place) in which they were located; (d) comply with the requirements of the State Veterinary Service of the Russian Federation specialists to carry out anti-epizootic and other measures provided for by the Rules in a personal subsidiary plot, a peasant farm, in the farm of an individual entrepreneur, organizations that keep animals; and (e) comply with the conditions, prohibitions, restrictions in connection with the status of the region in which the farm is located, established by the decision of the federal executive body in the field of veterinary supervision on regionalization for pasteurellosis.
