Abstract

This Order establishes that veterinary and sanitary requirements related to keeping pigeons shall be mandatory for natural and legal persons keeping pigeons, veterinary physicians, including veterinary inspectors and authorized veterinary experts, who perform the functions of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision within their authority and competence. Pigeons, regardless of their breed, are kept only in premises intended for poultry keeping. It is desirable to build three-section pigeon-houses with a separate room for the quarantine of newly arrived pigeons. In the breeding season in two sections the parent stock is placed, and in the third - the young 30-45 days old pigeons are placed. In other seasons, male and female pigeons must kept separately in two different sections, and one section remains empty.
