Order No. 759/96 establishing purity standards of colourings to be used in foodstuffs. It revokes conditions for the use of colourings in food stuffs, in compliance with annex I of Ministerial Decree No. 646/93 of 6 July and annex I of Ministerial Decree No. 27/90 of 12 January.

Abstract

This Order establishes purity standards of colourings to be used in foodstuffs. It specifies foods that may or may not contain such colourings; sanitary requirements (maximum tolerable quantity of colouring), etc. A list of authorized food colourings is contained in Annex I.
