Abstract This Order establishes that phytosanitary risk analysis shall be conducted by the National Center for Plant Quarantine. The scope of phytosanitary risks analysis shall be determination whether to include quarantine organisms and alien species, in relation to which plant quarantine shall be applicable, and inclusion in the list of particularly harmful pests, new pests, insects, pest pathogens and weeds, including GMO or exclude the aforesaid organisms from the database. It also determines regulation methods for the prevention of spreading harmful organisms and adoption of phytosanitary measure by means of assessment of biological, scientific, economic and quarantine phytosanitary data.
