The Order enters into force on 1 January 1985.
Abstract

The Order applies to commercial fishing for shrimps within Greenland's fishing territory whereby vessels are subject to licence based on their size. Vessels under 80 BRT which have fished in 1984 shall be granted for a fishing licence for 1985 without application thereof. Conditions for issuing a fishing license include the requirement of at least 70% of crew with residence in greenland for the past 2 years and have fishery as their main source of revenue. total allowable catch is determined by fishing area and period of fishing and is specified in the licence by local authority decisions.
