Abstract

This Order establishes veterinary (veterinary-sanitary) requirements for organizations performing production, storage and trade of veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives. It shall be applicable to natural persons and legal entities engaged in production, storage and trade of veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives on the national territory. Production control units to determine compliance of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin with veterinary regulations shall be authorized to involve accredited state laboratories (centers), included in the Unified Register of Conformity Assessment Bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in accordance with the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union as of May 29, 2014. Production controls include quality and safety checks of incoming raw materials, components, veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives, and also observance of the technological, sanitary and hygienic regimes, veterinary and sanitary requirements for the production and storage of veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives. Feed and feed additives, as well as products and raw materials supplied for processing, storage and trade, must be accompanied by veterinary documents, confirming their safety, origin and quality, as well as availability of a document confirming the origin of feed and feed additives, conformity assessment (certificate of conformity and (or) mark of conformity or declaration of conformity). Manufacturer of veterinary drugs organizes their production so that they meet their purpose and requirements, do not create risks to consumers due to breaches of safety, quality or efficiency. The risk of pollution of materials and products caused by the environment of industrial premises (buildings) should be minimal provided compliance with all protective measures. Cleaning and disinfection of premises should be carried out in accordance with written instructions. Technological operations shall be performed in accordance with the production requirements of regulatory technical documentation and this Regulation, in order to obtain products of the required quality.
