Entry into force on 1 July 2012.
Abstract

The Minister of the Environment shall grant subsidies to municipalities for the clarification of whether drilling protection areas around wells for public water supply system is necessary. The purpose of the Order is to ensure that these subsidies are granted with the aim to improve and protect drinking water in adherence to article 24 of the Environmental Protection Act. The Danish Nature Agency shall administer and prove grants to municipalities for the necessary technical assessments of drilling protection areas or projects that support local authorities in the establishment of drilling protection areas. Criteria and guidelines on how to apply for such subsidies can found on the Danish Nature Agency website (www.nst.dk).
