Abstract

This Order establishes that the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service shall be the authorized institution for the issuance (prolongation, substitution) of fishing permits and certification of ship’s fishing logs. Fishing permit shall be issued to the master of the fishing vessel at the request of the fishing organizations. Registration of the fishing permits shall be carried out in the electronic format with the insertion in the database of the following data: (a) personal data of the master; (b) data of issuance and the reference number of the fishing permit; (c) date of issuance of the duplicate of the fishing permit; (d) date of prolongation of the fishing permit; (e) name of the fishing vessel; (f) name of ship-owner; (g) expiration date of the fishing vessel; (h) results of testing of the master; and (j) data on the violations of the fisheries regulations. The period of validity of the fishing permit shall be five years. Ship’s fishing log shall be certified and sealed.
