Abstract

President of the Federal Forest Service, for the purpose of ensuring accident prevention in the process of setting up protective fire-prevention zones on the territory of the public forest, orders to validate the Recommendations, coordinated with the State Committee for Environmental Protection. Heads of the regional forest institutions must take under their special control carrying out of burning out as regards setting up protective fire-prevention zones and prevent uncontrolled burning out. The Regulation consists of 7 sections. Section 1 lays down the general provisions. Section 2 regards planning and co-ordination of work. Section 3 concerns formation of groups for carrying out the aforesaid work. Section 4 sets up conditions for safe execution of work. Section 5 deals with fire reconnaissance arrangements. Section 6 establishes the modalities of carrying out work. Section 7 regards safety techniques.
