Abstract

This Order prescribes that veterinary inspections of the processing, storage and trade of imported meat and raw meat-based products shall be carried out by the institution responsible for veterinary, biological and food safety of the Russian Federation, the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service. This Order shall be compulsory for state bodies and economic entities engaged in the processing, storage and trade of imported meat and raw meat-based products. Only economic entities previously inspected for compliance with veterinary and sanitary regulations shall be authorized to carry out the aforesaid operations with meat and raw meat-based products.
