The object of state control shall be compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on the protection of marine biological resources; compliance with terms and conditions of issued permits for fisheries (catch) of aquatic biological resources, as well as other documents on the basis of which the right to use aquatic biological resources arises; and compliance with international agreements in the sphere of marine biological resources protection.
