Abstract

This Order, consisting of 10 articles and seven Annexes, approves the Sanitary veterinary norms on the organization and functioning of the Official veterinary inspection carried out by specialized personnel within establishments producing food of animal origin, as provided in the Annexes. Veterinary sanitary standards referred to in art. 1 are developed to establish the organizational framework in which they operate specialized staff entitled to carry out official controls in establishments producing food of animal origin and to establish a procedure for fees of official inspections in establishments producing food of animal origin, in accordance to the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council no. 882/2004/EC approving rules on official controls to ensure verification of compliance with animal feed and food and ruling on health and animal protection.
