This Order enters into force on the day after its publication and takes effect on 1 January 2023.
Abstract

This Order establishes National standards for the application of control regimes within the scope of the intervention -Improving animal feed efficiency to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions- in the beef cattle component meat, and the intervention -Animal welfare and rational use of antimicrobials- in the animal welfare component. The control regimes are applicable to the following interventions: a) Improve animal feed efficiency to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in the beef cattle component of Axis A — Performance and sustainability; b) Animal welfare and rational use of antimicrobials, in the animal welfare component, of Axis A — Performance and sustainability. The control and certification regime provided for in is applicable to the intervention Soil conservation — Biodiverse pastures, under Axis C.1 — Environmental and climate management.
