Abstract

This Order amends the Regulation on fishing activity performed in the internal non-oceanic waters of the Tago River, approved by Order No. 569/90. Bivalve catching per boat limited= 80 kg/day. Maximum number of fishing licences= 30 (1 licence per boat owner). It regulates dredge fishing (with boat and mechanical winch) for bivalve and molluscs catching in the aforementioned river. This Order establishes authorized fishing techniques in internal non-oceanic waters of Tagus and prohibits this fishing method from 15 January to 15 February, as well as during Sundays and the following holidays: 1 January, 25 April, 1 May, 10 June and 25 December.
