Abstract

This Order stipulates that the Federal Nature Reserves Agrakhansky (Annex 1), Altacheysky (Annex 2), Dautsky (Annex 3), Kyrzynsky (Annex 4), Kletnyansky (Annex 5), Klyazminsky (Annex 6), Kunovatsk (Annex 7), Nizhne-obsky (Annex 8), Orlovsky (Annex 9), Samursky (Annex 10), Tlyaratinsky (Annex 11), Frolokhinsky (Annex 12) and Hingano-Arkharinsky (Annex 13) have been established for the purpose of conserving, propagating, enhancing and protecting the habitat of game stock of particular economic, scientific, ecological or cultural value. They shall be classified as biological nature reserves with an unlimited duration, and any changes to their boundaries or any reorganization or liquidation shall be carried out in accordance with relevant legislation. The establishment of nature reserves shall not entail the expropriation of land from tenants. The main purposes of these nature reserves are: (a) conservation, propagation, stock enhancement of endangered and rare species and protection of their habitats migration routes, nidification, hibernation and of the ecological balance; and (b) provide for biotechnological measures to enhance the habitats of protected species. Any activity contrary to the purposes of these nature reserve or that harm nature complexes or their components, including cultivation, extracting timber, hunting and fishing, shall be prohibited.
