Abstract

This Order establishes control measures against the so called "centipede" pest, by prohibiting the trade, transport, or any other kind of possible proliferation of such a pest. By the date of entry into force of the present Order, no plant transport shall be possible unless accompanied by a phytosanitary authorization granted by the Delegation of the Ministry of Rural Development (art. 2). Article 4 deals with powers of pesticides inspectors who must monitor the implementation of ministerial regulations. The transport of contaminated plants shall be subject to penalties (art. 5). A phytosanitary certificate model form is annexed to the text.
