Abstract The Minister orders to validate the Regulation. The Federal Seed Inspection exercises the following functions: a). carrying out of the common policy in the field of plant variety and seed control of the seeds of agricultural plants; b). elaboration of the common scientifically grounded quality standards for seeds and technical means of their valuation; c). coordination and regulation of the activity of the Regional Seed Inspections for the purpose of the selection of high quality seeds and planting material; d). organizational and methodological guidance of the right application of national state standards and international norms for the valuation of seeds and planting material; e). organization, co-ordination, planning and methodological guidance of the activity in the field of national and international standardization of the norms regarding seeds and planting material and the methodology of their valuation.
