Selective shooting shall be intended shooting of sick or deformed wild fauna species for the purpose of formation of healthy and high productive reproduction stock of wild fauna species, regulation of age and sex groups of animals. In particular, sick, old, injured animals with evident signs of degradation, two-year underdeveloped species, species with non-characteristic colour, and in case of hoofed animals (deer, elk, fallow deer and roe) – species with underdeveloped horns, shall be subject to selective shooting.
