Abstract

This Order, consisting of 6 articles and 1 Appendix, approves the Sanitary norms on the licensing of veterinary units that produce, process, store, transport and/or distribute products of animal origin as set out in the annex part of the present Order. Sanitary veterinary norm laid down in Art. 1 was developed to establish a procedure for authorizing establishments that produce, process, store, transport and/or distribute products of animal origin, in accordance with EC Regulation No. 882/2004 of the European Parliament and the Council of 29 April 2004 on official controls to ensure verification of compliance with feed and food law and rules of animal health and animal welfare, as amended, by the EC Commission Regulation No. 853/2004 of the European Parliament and the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin, as amended, and the EC Regulation No. 854/2004 of the European Parliament and the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific rules for the organization of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption, as amended.
