Abstract

This procedure establishes the rules for conducting an examination of the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals, including consideration of an application for organizing an examination of the results of registration tests of a pesticide and (or) agrochemicals, conducting an examination of the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals, making a decision to issue or refuse to issue a conclusion of the expertise of the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals. The organization of the examination of the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals is carried out by the federal executive body, which performs the functions of developing state policy and legal regulation in the field of the agro-industrial complex. Examination of the results of registration tests of pesticides and agrochemicals includes: (a) state ecological examination of the draft technical documentation for a pesticide or agrochemical, carried out by the federal executive body exercising the functions of control and supervision in the field of environmental management, as well as within its competence in the field of environmental protection, including in terms of limiting the negative technogenic impact, in the field of waste management (with the exception of radioactive waste) and state environmental expertise; (b) sanitary and epidemiological expertise carried out by the federal executive body responsible for the development and implementation of state policy and legal regulation in the field of consumer protection, healthy nutrition, in the field of catering, ensuring the quality and safety of food products, materials and products that come into contact with food products, development and approval of state sanitary and epidemiological rules and hygienic standards; and (c) examination of regulations for the use of pesticides and agrochemicals, organized by the federal executive body responsible for the development of state policy and legal regulation in the field of the agro-industrial complex.
