Abstract

This Order establishes specific restrictions for sardine fishing activity in order to regulate its fishing, control of the keeping on board, fish landing and trade. It consists of 14 articles and 1 annex establishing maximum quota and prohibiting this fishing activity during week-end within the waters under Portuguese jurisdiction. It specifies the geographical limits of the authorized fishing area, establishing seasons and maximum 10% of by-catch of the total landing.
