This Order enters into force on the date of publication.
Abstract

This Order establishes areas for the exploitation of seaweeds and marketing requirements. It consists of 7 articles laying down the requirements for obtaining a permit in order to collect and sell marine seaweeds. Applications for obtaining the aforementioned permit (including detailed information to be given on exploitation areas) must be sent to Sudepe. It also prescribes controls to be carried out by Sudepe services and lays down sanctions to be paid by offenders, in compliance with Decree-Law No. 221 of 28 February 1967.
