This Order enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Order establishes that state register of rare and endangered wild fauna and wild flora species, listed in the national Red Book, shall cover the entire territory of Ukraine, including its inland sea and territorial sea, continental shelf and exclusive economic zone, and it shall be administered and updated with the purpose of systematic identification their natural habitats, mapping of their geographical distribution, assessment of quantitative, qualitative and other characteristics required for application of urgent measures for their protection and reproduction. The state registration of species recorded in the Red Book shall be performed for separate types (groups of species) of animals, plants and mushrooms through accounting of the data submitted by owners or users (including tenants) of land plots regarding the availability of such species on their territory, as well as the data contained in forestry and land tenure materials, public land, forest and water inventories, data from scientific institutions, data from public organizations and natural persons.
