Abstract

This Order establishes the modalities for state monitoring of subsoil, which shall be an integral part of complex environmental monitoring. The main tasks of state monitoring of subsoil shall be: (a) collection of data and information on subsoil; (b) assessment of the state of subsoil and forecasting changes thereof; (c) registration of the stock of groundwater; (d) prevention of negative geological impacts; and (e) providing state bodies, organizations and subsoil managers with information regarding changes in the state of subsoil. State monitoring of subsoil shall be composed of: (a) groundwater monitoring; (b) monitoring of hazardous exogenous geological processes; (c) monitoring of hazardous endogenous geological processes; and (d) monitoring of hydrocarbons.
