Abstract The Order sets regulations with regard to the awarding of subsidies for the sustainability of existing forests, and which granting may be authorized by the Danish Nature Agency. The latter shall grant subsidies to projects with the aim of maintaining, expanding and ensuring proper forestry operations in accordance with the Natura 2000 planning. Subsidies shall be granted to municipalities or private land-owners.
