Abstract

This Order establishes the final approval of the Detailed Management Plan (POD) of the ZDTI of Murdeira and Algodoeiro (POD-MV) in the Sal island, under the Legal Regime of Special Tourist Areas, approved by Law No. 75/VII/2010 of 23 August. The Detailed Land Use Plan (POD), is a Special Land Use Plan, which details the areas for the implementation of tourist uses and the land occupied by social and leisure facilities, readjust and complete the road systems, forested areas and open spaces and complement the service networks. The Special Plans aim to safeguard national objectives and interests with a delimited territorial impact, as well as the protection of fundamental principles enshrined in superior territorial management instruments, covering the area necessary for the specific interest to be protected. The POD-MV develops and implements the proposal for the urban occupation and transformation of the territory of the ZDTI of Murdeira and Algodeoiro, for the respective intervention area, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 43/2010 of 27 September.
