This Order enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Order establishes the phytosanitary emergency measures against the pest Helicoverpa zea in cotton and soya cultivation for harvests from 2012 to 2015. It establishes an emergency plan to be implemented up to 2015 in order to extinguish the above mentioned plant pest. It institutes the Management Group for the phytosanitary emergency situation, within the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), aiming at identifying, proposing and implementing the emergency measures and actions to contain this pest and guaranteeing the complete rehabilitation of normal productivity.
