Abstract The Order applies to licensing of commercial cod-, saithe- and haddock-fishing by Greenlandic-registered vessels operating in the North Atlantic (north of 62°N) and Norwegian coastal zone in the North Sea (south of 62°N). Fishing is subject to licensing specifying the size of its quota and is granted for a maximum of 1 year provided fishing activities take place outside of the Norwegian coastal zone with mesh width of 135mm in adherence to the current technical conservation measures rules. Within the protected area of Svalbard ONLY shrimp-fishing is allowed in 1992.
