This Order implements United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The purpose of this Order shall be data collection and centralized registration of documentation on emissions and greenhouse gas sinks as a result of climate projects, reducing anthropogenous emissions or increasing greenhouse gas sinks, carried out by economic entities on the territory of the Russian Federation, with a view of inserting the aforesaid data into the Unified state database of environmental information.
