Abstract

The Regulation establishes the common requirements for all managers of hunting grounds that must be taken into consideration in the process of the allotment of areas for the conservation and reproduction of game (reproduction areas). Reproduction areas can be allotted as one or several contours (massifs, natural boundaries, or water bodies) with the total area of no less than 20 hundredth parts allotted for hunting. Hunting managers must take into consideration habits of migratory game for the purpose of the formation of reproduction areas, common for two and more hunting reserves. Depending upon hunting species populating the territory of hunting reserves the reproduction areas can be set for single game species or groups of game species. The most favourable for protection and reproduction of single game species or groups of game species areas with feeding and protection properties shall be allotted for reproduction areas for the period of no less than three years. Hunting shall be prohibited on the territory allotted for reproduction areas.
