Abstract

The Order applies to Danish merchant ship personnel handling food. The purpose of the regulations herewith set is to ensure that ship personnel is able to demonstrate competency in self-monitoring, control, general microbiology (including food-borne diseases) and hygiene principles (including treatment and storage of food) when handling with food. These competencies shall grant access to applying for food certification.
