The provisions of the present Order shall be binding on all officials authorized to perform veterinary marking and on legal persons and citizens that breed or hunt animal species (including aquatic species) or engage in the procurement, processing, storage or trade of animal and wildlife products. Skins of all agricultural and wild animals shall be subject to compulsory veterinary markings that attest to the product’s safety. Annex 1 contains the form of veterinary mark(s) and stamp(s) and the descriptions thereof. Veterinary markings shall be carried out after veterinary and sanitary testing of skins and, in case of necessity, laboratory testing of animal products to ensure their safety and suitability for further processing.
