Abstract

This Order establishes approves the Regulation of the Support Regime for the Definitive Cessation of Fishing Activities of Vessels aiming to catch hake and are included in the Recovery Plan for Southern Hake and Norway lobster, which falls within the European Union Priority established in Regulation (EU) No. 508/2014 of the European Parliament and the Council of 15 May 2014 on the European Fund for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. This Regulation, consisting of 17 articles and two Annexes, establishes, within the framework of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) for the Continent, a regime to support the permanent cessation of fishing activities for vessels who perform hake fishing and are included in the Recovery Plan for Southern Hake and Norway lobster. Annexes specify the Methodology for calculating the premium for fishing vessel owners (I) and Selection of applications (II).
