The Department of Navigation is entitled with the task of the organization and carrying out state inspection over safe navigation of the fishing vessels registered in fishing seaports, safe fisheries and prevention of marine pollution, elaboration and carrying out at the fishing fleet common policy in the sphere of safe navigation, safe fisheries and prevention of marine pollution, state inspection of the registration of fishing vessels in fishing seaports and ownership rights, and also keeping vessel register. The Department of Navigation shall carry out the functions of supervision over State administration of fishing seaports in the sphere of ensuring safe navigation, safe fisheries and harbour control in the fishing seaports.
