Abstract

This Order, consisting of 9 articles, regulates the authorization for the first sale of fresh fish outside the auctions to the fishing communities dependent on the Guadiana River, applying the sales made locally within the counties of Castro Marim, Alcoutim and Mértola. This Order applies to the sales made locally in the above mentioned counties by the shipowners and holders of a professional fishing license to operate exclusively in the Guadiana River. These shipowners and holders may be authorized by the Director-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services (DGRM) to sell the fish caught, directly to the final consumer, to retail establishments supplying the final consumer or to licensed establishments for the processing of fishery products. The sale of fish products obeys to the procedures and obligations provided for and may not exceed 30 kg/day, per buyer.
