This Order enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of 15 articles and two Annexes, establishes the conditions for inland water fishing, defining authorised species to be caught for recreational, sporting and professional fishing, which species are compulsorily prohibited and seized, what fishing periods are authorized for each species and related size of capture, which species are susceptible to be released and also the aquatic species considered of relevant importance. Only recreational fishing and sport fishing of the species listed in Annex I are permitted. Marine species caught accidentally in free waters may be retained, provided that the legislation applicable to the confining waters under maritime jurisdiction so permits. Immediate release to the water those species considered to be mandatory released (DO) and listed in Annex I, except during sport fishing activity, where the release to water may occur at the end of the competition. Aquatic species of compulsory release must be released to the water in good health condition. Compulsory seizure of aquatic species which is prohibited the release (DP) listed in Annex I, and which can not be kept or transported alive. Professional fishing of the species listed in Annex II shall be permitted only for the periods specified within. Annexes specify the following issues: Species for recreational and sport; Species for professional fishing; Freshwaters in which fishing periods are different from those specified in article 9.
