In order to determine hunting dog breed, shall be applicable breed standards adopted either by the International Cynological Federation (FCI) or by the country of origin of hunting dog. In case of absence of breed of hunting dog in the classification of FCI, shall be applicable standard of the country of origin of the hunting dog. The authorized state institution in the sphere of forest management and hunting shall perform the following functions: (a) approval of normative documents on hunting dog breeding; (b) the establishment of the periods for training, chasing, field exercises and competitions of hunting dogs; (c) performance of state control over observance of legislation in the sphere of hunting management and hunting practice; (d) organization of registration of hunting dogs’ breeds; (e) keeping unified breed book of dogs of hunting breeds; (f) issuance of records and information from the unified pedigree book related to the originator of a hunting dog breed; (g) issuance of certificates for hunting dog breeds; (h) allotment of plots of hunting grounds for training, chasing, field exercises and competitions of hunting dogs.
