Abstract This Order establishes that all animal species, including birds, fur-bearing animals, laboratory animals, zoo animals, pets, aquatic animals, bees and fishes shall be authorized for transport by rail from the territories free of infectious animal diseases under supervision of the State Veterinary Supervision Service and in the presence of the accompanying veterinary certificates. Additional authorization issued by CITES office of the exporting state shall be requested for transportation of endangered and protected animal species. Slaughtering during transportation shall be prohibited. Carriages destined for transportation of animals shall be clean and disinfected. Carriages arriving to railway station under quarantine shall be subject to change of station of destination. Full text Russian Website www.garant.ru
