Abstract This Order enforces guidelines on action to be taken in regards to Rabies-affected animals (including domestic animals). Symptoms disclosing risk of Rabies may be the following: drooling, dysphagia, voice change, uncleanliness, anxiety, behavioural changes (such as snap after imaginary things), shyness, confused behavior, tantrums, interspersed with more or less pronounced lethargy periods and attacks and progressive paralysis, especially of the mandible and hind quarters. Other possible symptoms in animals may result from having been bitten by a suspect or infected animal or a bat or having been in other physical contact with suspected or infected animals or bats. Any animal owner shall report suspect cases with the consequent quarantine in a protected/regulated area under the regional food administration authorities.
