Abstract

This Order approves the Technical Regulation for the Hygienic-Sanitary Conditions and Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Producing/Industrializing Establishments. This Regulation lays down the general hygiene and good manufacturing practice requirements for food produced/manufactured for human consumption. This Regulation applies to any natural or legal person who has at least one establishment in which some of the following activities are performed: production/industrialization, storage and transportation of processed food. Foods or livestock intended for human consumption should not be produced, grown or harvested in areas where the presence of potentially harmful substances may lead to the contamination of such food or their derivatives at levels which may constitute a health risk.
