Abstract

This Order sets out the requirements for the scope, methods and execution of arrangements for organizing forest stock, including urban forests and protected areas. Forest organization arrangements include: (a) development of forests; (b) development of commercial forests, protection forests and reserve forests; (c) mapping of forests; (d) inventory; and (e) arrangements for the protection, conservation and reproduction of forests. Objects of forest organization shall be forests (forest parks), or any part thereof, or forest plots. In the process of subdividing forestland, it is advisable to maintain previously established boundaries. Forest parks shall be developed around urban areas. Development of commercial forests within forest areas shall be carried out after the development of protection and reserve forests. Boundaries of green belts shall be set in accordance with land, town planning and environmental protection legislation. The purpose of developing forest plots within forest areas shall be their management in accordance with forest planning documentation.
