The Order provides standards of pesticide concentration in soil, water, working zones, atmospheric air, human body and food when importing, storing, transporting, selling and using. According to the document, if there is no standard set for certain species, its family species standard should be used instead (such as vegetables, fruits, cereals etc.). The Order then adopts the list of products and items and permitted concentration of pesticides in each. According to the Order, the list has been prepared based on Codex alimentarius and Codex maximum limits for pesticide residues FAO/WHO, 1993.
