Abstract This Order sets regulations on all fishing and hunting of beluga whales (Delphinapterus leucas) and narwhales (Monodon Monoceros) in Greenland. These two species may only be caught by people holding a valid hunting permit. Flying and transporting vehicles may not be used for the hunting of these marine mammals and rifles not larger than 7,62 mm (caliber .30-06) may be used for the hunting in integration with spirs, mesh or other. No exploding, spur-cannons pistols or rifles may be utilized for hunting marine mammals. No circumnavigating the animals as a form of catch is permitted and vessels must adhere to size regulations.
