Order No. 280 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology validating the Regulation on National Park "Zigalga". National Park "Zigalga" shall perform the following tasks: (a) preservation of natural complexes, unique and reference natural plots and objects; (b) preservation of historical and cultural sites; (c) environmental education of the population; (d) creation of conditions for regulated tourism and recreation; (e) implementation of scientific (research) activities in the field of environmental protection in order to develop measures for the preservation and development of natural potential and recreational potential of the Russian Federation; (f) implementation of state ecological monitoring; and (g) restoration of damaged natural and historical and cultural complexes and objects. On the territory of National Park "Zigalga"shall be prohibited any activity contrary to the tasks of national park and could damage natural complexes and objects, wild fauna species and objects of historical and cultural heritage, including: (a) commercial, amateur and sport hunting; (b) commercial fishing, fishing for aquaculture (fishfarming) purpose, aquaculture (fish farming); (c) individual housing construction, residential construction, construction of trunk roads, pipelines, power lines and other communication lines; (d) stay with firearms, pneumatic and throwing weapons, traps and other hunting gear, with captured wild fauna species and wildlife products, with the exception of cases related to measures for state supervision in the field of protection and use of protected natural areas of federal significance, federal state supervision in the field of protection, reproduction and management of wild fauna species, and scientific research activities of authorized staff; (e) stay with fishing gear; (f) exploration and mining; (g) disturbance of soil layer; (h) modification of hydrological regime; (i) procurement of soft resin and non-timber edible products; (j) timber extraction, except for timber extraction by citizens for individual personal needs; (k) disturbance of habitats of wild fauna species; (l) transit and grazing of farm animals; (m) rafting of timber on waterways; (n) plowing of land and haymaking (except for forest fire prevention); (o) blasting operations; (p) introduction of alien species; (q) storage and application of pesticides, mineral fertilizers and toxic chemicals; (r) collection of zoological, botanical and mineralogical samples; (s) stay with dogs; (t) clear cutting of forest species, except for sanitary felling; (u) destruction and damage of notices, barriers, stands, border poles and other information signs; (v) unauthorized archeological activity; (w) disturbance of habitats of wild fauna and wild flora species; and (x) flight of aircraft and helicopters below 500 meters over the territory of national park without prior authorization of the authorized institution.
