Abstract

This Order establishes quality standards for oil of olive and oil from olive residues. It consists of 19 articles regulating production and trade of these products for human consumption, specifying sanitary procedures and quality standards to be satisfied. It also establishes prohibited treatment activity, olive oil classification, authorized additives, conditions, labelling and packaging requirements, etc.
