State nature reserve “Eloguyskiy” shall be located in the Krasnoyarsk area, with total territory of 747 600 ha. Reserve shall have the following purposes: (a) ecosystem (landscape) preservation of the river basin Eloguy; (b) conservation, recovery and reproduction of wild fauna, including aquatic biological resources; (c) conservation of migration routes of wild animals (d) ecological monitoring; and (d) ecological education. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of reserve: (a) all types of hunting and fisheries; (b) land reclamation and irrigation; (c) exploration, prospecting and mining; (d) waste disposal; (e) application of chemicals and fertilizers; (f) timber extraction, except for personal needs of local residents, logging and procurement of non-timber forest products; and (g) introduction and acclimatization of living organisms.
