Abstract This Order amends closed season for Beryx (genus of alfonsinos) fish species. Amendments establish prohibition of alfonsinos fishing (Beryx spp.), from the date of closure of the directed fishery. It specifies that any landing of any kind, except the Beryx decadactylus, which directed fishing remains authorized and the (Beryx splendens), whose capture is authorized, getting the respective by-catch landing limited to up to 5% of the total landed by the vessel for each fishing season.
