This Order enters into force ten calendars days after the date of its first official publication.
Abstract

Items 18 and 19 shall be amended to add the following wording: “18. Natural persons and legal entities for the prevention of animal diseases, including diseases common to animals and humans, ensure: (a) implementation of veterinary and administrative measures in compliance with these Rules, ensuring the prevention of animal diseases and the safety of moved (transported) animals; (b) maintenance, breeding and use of animals, including animals in zoos, circuses, apiaries, aquariums in accordance with these Rules and veterinary standards; (c) prevention of environmental pollution; (d) maintenance of the territory, livestock premises, as well as structures for storage and processing of feed, products and raw materials of animal origin in accordance with these Rules and veterinary standards; (e) compliance with zoohygienic and veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements during the placement, construction, reconstruction and commissioning of objects of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision related to maintenance, breeding, use, production, procurement (slaughter), storage, processing and trade, as well as during transportation (movement) of moved (transported) animals; (f) identification of farm animals; (g) notification of divisions of local executive bodies operating in the field of veterinary medicine, state veterinary organizations created by local executive bodies, bodies of state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision about: newly acquired animal(s), received offspring, its (their) slaughter and sale; cases of death, simultaneous illness of several animals or their unusual behavior and, before the arrival of specialists in the field of veterinary medicine, state veterinary and sanitary inspectors, taking measures to keep animals in isolation if a disease is suspected; (h) timely vaccination and diagnosis of their animals to ensure veterinary and sanitary safety; (i) unhindered provision of the moved (transported) object to state veterinary and sanitary inspectors for veterinary inspection; (j) comply with the acts of state veterinary and sanitary inspectors; (k) preventing the slaughter of animals for sale without pre-mortem veterinary inspection and post-mortem veterinary and sanitary examination of carcasses and organs; (l) carrying out the slaughter of farm animals intended for subsequent sale at meat processing plants, slaughter stations or sites for the slaughter of farm animals in accordance with the Rules for organizing the slaughter of farm animals intended for subsequent sale; (m) providing assistance to specialists in the field of veterinary medicine in the performance of their official duties in carrying out veterinary activities; (n) quarantine of animals; and (o) coordination of regulatory and technical documentation for new, improved veterinary drugs, feed additives. 19. Requirements for the territories, production premises and activities of natural persons and legal entities growing, procuring, storing, processing, selling or using moved (transported) animals are established in accordance with the Veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements for production facilities carrying out breeding and trade of animals.”
