Abstract The Order defines rules on measures necessary for granting manufacturing premium for potato starch. Such activities are being carried out by the Directorate for Food and provisions related to manufacturing premium for potato starch and subsidy for starch potatoes are paid out by the Directorate. Manufacturing premium and subsidy are covered by a contract between a farmer and a business entity. Companies that produce potato starch can only achieve manufacturing premium if the Directorate for Food has been awarded a share of the Danish quota for the production thereof. Farmers wishing to be included in such scheme shall annually submit an application and the cultivation contractual agreement to the Directorate for Food.
